Grant Scheme

The main aim of the Ottershaw Community Partnership (OCP) CIC is to provide a fun community event for the residents of Ottershaw village and surrounding communities and provide an opportunity for charities, groups and businesses to raise funds on the day, but also for the CIC to raise funds which are then distributed in the form of grants to our local organisations, charities, groups and clubs. This normally takes place in November following that years fete.

The continuing support of our community (as well as a fabulous afternoon of fun and friendship) enables us to help our local groups continue their amazing work. If you would like to be involved in this fun and worthy cause please contact the Committee for an informal chat about the help we need for the 2026 Fete.

The grant approval process is undertaken by the OCP Committee. Since its incorporation over £32,000 has been distributed back to the community. These grants have been enabled due to the amazing efforts from the fete committee and volunteers who give up their valuable time and without whom the fete cannot take place.

2025 Grants awarded

Grant applications were received and funds awarded to the following to assist with:

Ottershaw Village Hall - towards replacement of electrical equipment and lighting
Ottershaw Bowling Club - towards old and rotting benches
Christchurch Ottershaw - towards vital replacement of their heating system
Ottershaw Junior Football Club - Winter venue funding
The Hope Hub - Craft equipment and materials providing support for vulnerable young ladies
Tools for Tomorrow - towards expenses in support of career workshops for students embarking on their first ventures into the world of work.

Ottershaw Village Hall - Replacement of a consumer unit

Christchurch Ottershaw - Replacement of rear exit stairs to Ottershaw Parish Centre and Church
Ottershaw Junior Football Club - Winter venue funding
Home Start -Runnymede and Woking - Recruitment of volunteers
